A software engineer and his American Lit professor wife (real airheads, right?) are looking to swap their 2-bdrm apartment in the 10th for a Brooklyn or Manhattan apartment in April/May for one month. Tokyo Swap: A flexible swap is available with another brainy couple (one half the duo lectures at a Japanese University), this time in Yokohama. San Francisco 4 Star for Less: [via Travelzoo] Stay in San Francisco's 4-Star Intercontinental Hotel for just $129/night through May. We've stayed at this hotel and while it's nothing super fancy - nor does it have a tremendous amount of character - this is a hell of a deal for such a centrally located, upscale hotel. Bangkok Bargain: A new luxury hotel that's supposed to rival the nicest in town has lowered its rates by 30% to $121/night through March 31st, 2010.
