Dream getaway: India! I'd start in Mumbai, fly to Goa, then make my way up through Kerala for a month or so. Then I'd hit Amritsar and spend a day at the Golden Temple. Not that I've thought about this obsessively or anything.
Worst travel experience: Anything involving Penn Station.
Biggest overall travel tip: Enjoy experiences as they come. Terrible travel encounters will be amazing stories later on.
Exceptions you make when you travel: I'm pretty rigid about my drinking at home - a couple martinis on Fridays, a glass of wine here or there. And I never smoke. Until I set foot in Europe, where after two days vodka and nicotine are seeping out of my pores...
