To Tulum - 2 fares at $293! Mexicana and American Airlines are selling direct flights to Cancun (90 mins from Tulum) for a steal. Plenty of dates are available in January, February and March, so you have no excuse not to check out one of our absolute favorite escapes this winter! While there's plenty of availability for the months we mentioned, our specific dates were: 1/18 to 1/24 on Mexicana (MLK Week) and 1/29 to 2/3 on American. San Juan, Puerto Rico as low as $189 for MLK weekend on one of our favorite airlines - JetBlue. We also found flights for about $249 for tons of dates till April 1st. Blackout dates: February 11 through February 16, February 19 through February 24. You must book by January 14th! Saba, via flights to St. Maarten, $334 - We recently wrote about this off-the-beaten path Caribbean destination and we've found flights for MLK week to St. Maarten on JetBlue. Fly to St Maarten Saturday (1/17), return Wed (1/21) or Thurs (1/22) for a seriously blissed out Caribbean getaway. Book through kayak.com or JetBlue.

Europe on the Cheap (Under $500!). Fares to Barcelona ($454), Paris ($628) and London ($455) from January through March on American Airlines. Our dates? Barcelona: depart 1/28, return 2/3; Paris: depart 2/12, return 2/17; London: depart 1/28, return 2/3. These are excellent all-inclusive fares; prices don't get much cheaper. Valentine's Day getaway anyone? Travel must be complete by April 2, 2009. Book with their European Winter Sale. 

Rome for just $560. It's much more mild there than here, plus there are hardly any tourists to get in your way at the Coliseum! February's a great time to visit, and it doesn't get much cheaper than these super low fares with Ailitalia. There are tons of dates for February and March - practically any will work. $199 to New Orleans - One of the easiest and most rewarding weekend getaways you can take. Lots of dates available for the next couple of months on JetBlue. Our dates? Leaving 1/14, returing 1/20, though fares are this low till April 1st. Blackout dates: February 11 through February 16, February 19 through February 24. Book through JetBlue.

$239 to SF! A super sale to the West Coast on one of our favorite airlines, Virgin-America. Fares include San Francisco: $239, Los Angeles: $299 & Seattle: $340. There's so many dates available, you can pretty much try any - fares are good till June 10th! Buy your ticket directly with Virgin.

Last Minute LA for $199. Leave this Friday, return Monday or Tuesday night. $199. Book with American Airlines and their Domestic Getaway Specials.

Need a room for Sundance? We found rooms for the entire week less than 20 minutes away from Park City at a highly recommended Homestead Resort for $173/night. A shuttle to Park City is available at the hotel, and breakfast is included! Reserve your rooms on their site. The resort's TripAdvisor reviews are consistently glowing.

Windham House for Rent, $425 for the weekend. It has four bedrooms, making this cozy cottage the perfect - and affordable - super easy group ski getaway! Get more information from their listing on Craigslist.org. 

Luxury Hamptons Weekend Getaway. A super gorgeous home with 4 bedrooms and a toasty hot tub, fireplace, gourmet kitchen and lots of other amenities for $500/night. Southern Hospitality at $99/night. Thinking about heading down to New Orleans? Then tack on a day or two and stay at this award-winning hotel, a former plantation that's just a 2 hour drive from the Big Easy. Rates are normally $200 or more a night. It gets super high TripAdvisor reviews, plus it won a Travel and Leisure Reader's Choice Award. Book directly on the site - rates are good till the end of January. 

Miami South Beach Steal. Save up to 25% at a lovely beachfront hotel, the South Seas. Rates start at $210 though they normally average at $350. Excellent TripAdvisor reviews. Book through one of our favorite hotel sites, Quikbook.
